Performance

Under the hood, the 2024 INFINITI QX60 boasts a 3.5-liter V6 engine, delivering a robust 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. This power is harnessed by a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, offering a dynamic driving experience, especially on challenging mountain roads. This combination results in an EPA-estimated city/highway/combined mpg of 21 / 26 / 23 for front-wheel drive models and 20 / 25 / 22 with all-wheel drive. The QX also features a drive mode selector that lets you tailor the drive to your conditions. Among the settings are Snow, Sport, and a Personal mode you can design yourself.

The QX60 rides on a 4-wheel independent suspension with struts and a stabilizer bar up front and a multi-link arrangement with a stabilizer bar in the rear. The steering is rack-pinion with speed-sensitive power assist. All models come standard with a brake-actuated limited-slip differential for more sure-footed handling, while the AUTOGRAPH grade adds Active Trace Control which regulates wheel speed to improve stability around curves.

Exterior

The QX60 features a handsome, sculpted exterior which is led by the origami-inspired mesh grille. Tinted side glass and black B, C, and D pillars produce a long, wrap-around greenhouse for a clean look that is additionally defined by a unique “tuning fork” upper and lower bright trim treatment. The design also complements the available contrasting roof colors and a panoramic moonroof over the 1st & 2nd rows is standard on all models. The PURE grade features 18-inch wheels with all other grades sporting 20-inch wheels.

Interior

It is of little surprise that the QX is quite spacious inside. Its standard configuration seats seven with the inclusion of 2nd-row captain’s chairs and room for three in the 3rd row. The total seating capacity can be bumped up to eight with an optional 2nd-row bench seat. Behind the third row is 16.6 cubic feet of cargo space which can expand to 95.1 cubic feet when the 3rd and 2nd rows of seats are lowered. All QX80 grades treat their passengers to leather seating with the SENSORY model featuring extra luxurious quilted semi-aniline leather surfaces.

The dash features a logical layout with controls stacked neatly in the center. The center stack is topped by a 12.3-inch display, below which remains a full set of physical controls for the audio and standard tri-zone climate systems. A 13-speaker Bose® Premium audio system with two subwoofers is standard topped by a 17-speaker Bose Performance Series system on the SENSORY grade. All models feature Wireless Apple CarPlay and USB-connected Android Auto. Onboard navigation and Amazon Alexa® are standard. With intuitive voice commands, Alexa can play music, place calls, control smart home devices, and more.

Safety and Driver Assistance

The QX80 gives you confidence with several safety technologies to help you keep aware of everything around you with:

ProPILOT Assist is standard on all models and includes Intelligent Cruise Control to provide automatic speed regulation even in traffic. It will even bring the vehicle down to a full stop during times of heavy congestion and go when traffic starts moving again. Active Lane Keep Assist helps you stay centered in your lane and is particularly useful when you find yourself distracted by passengers or reaching for something.
