INFINITI Shows Off Autograph Lounge Tailgate Concept at SEMA

The Specialty Equipment Market Association, better known as SEMA, is an opportunity for auto manufacturers and aftermarket suppliers to show what they can and possibly will do, depending on the public reaction.  Often, they will take a specific activity and decide what they can develop to optimize a vehicle for it.  That is precisely what INFINITI did for the AUTOGRAPH Lounge concept.  It is a very INFINITI way of approaching a tailgate celebration, and Dick Smith INFINITI is going to tell you all about it.  

The AUTOGRAPH Lounge begins with the top trim of the brand’s top SUV, the all-new 2025 QX80.  They then optimized the cargo area for a tailgating experience that matches the elegance of the AUTOGRAPH trim’s rich burgundy semi-aniline leather interior.  The space features an integrated TV flat screen enhanced by a custom- Klipsch® sound system and an extension of the 24-speaker Klipsch audio system already available in the AUTOGRAPH.  All of these deliver the amazing, accurate sound for which Klipsch is renowned.  

Within the tailgate-mounted speaker housings is an elevated table for your snacks. Below are two slide-out drawers. The right features square gray stoneware plates that match the exterior color and a complete set of elegant utensils, all snuggly foam packed for the drive.  The left drawer features four beautiful stemmed wine glasses, a place for two wine bottles, and a wine bottle opener. All of this is housed in beautiful burgundy wood cabinetry, lined in key areas by the quilted burgundy leather that matches the rest of the interior. This is all located in the cargo area behind the third row so that you can bring along three rows of your friends for the experience.  

INFINITI didn’t leave the exterior alone, wrapping its new design with a matte gray finish.  The non-gloss surfaces contrast with the custom 24-inch wheels, each featuring twelve elegantly curved spokes first seen on the QX Monograph concept, with secondary burgundy-colored spokes to provide a hint of the cabin to the exterior. Additionally, the available Electronic Air Suspension has a lowering kit for an even more striking stance.
