The QX60 Gets A New Engine And Special Edition Package
The 2025 model year is shaping up to be a really big year for INFINITI SUVs, with the introduction of the all-new QX80, the QX55 being considered one of the best luxury crossovers in its segment, and now a new engine and Black Edition Package for the much loved QX60.

A New Engine
For the 2025 QX60, the 3.5-liter V6 is being phased out with the 2024 model. In its place arrives the special 2.0-liter VC turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque and is combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission. While the new VC turbo motor features a little less horsepower, it does add extra torque.
Fuel Mileage And Trim Levels With Pricing
The QX60 is available in four trim levels: Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph. The first three trims feature front-wheel drive as standard, with all-wheel drive optional, although it is standard on the top of the line Autograph. Thanks to that VC engine, the QX60 will get better fuel economy, with FWD models achieving 22 mpg city and 28 highway, and 22 city and 27 highway with AWD. That’s an increase of one mpg city and two mpg highway for the FWD, and two city and two highway with AWD. The 2025 model is able to tow up to 6,000 lbs when properly equipped, which remains the same as the 2024. Base MSRPs are listed below with each trim level, which includes a $1,350 destination fee.
- Pure: $51,550
- Luxe: $58,150
- Sensory: $60,450
- Autograph: $67,500
Interior Features
Drivers and front passengers will be delighted by the Zero Gravity seats that will help take the pressure off their bodies during longer drives. Each trim level also comes standard with the InTouch 12.3-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, and nine speakers as standard. A 17-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system is optional. All models feature a wireless charger for the front seats, plus five USB ports, two for the front, two for the second row, and one for the third row. Sensory and Autograph trims add an extra USB port for third-row passengers.

All-New Black Edition
Luxe trim models can now be optioned with the Black Edition Package, which will come in either black, white, or gray exterior paint, with a black finish on the 20-inch wheels, roof rails, grille surround, and exterior badges. There will also be an illuminated INFINITI logo in the grille and a black headliner. All Luxe models now get a 17-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system. All models will now have keyless entry as standard, as well as the ability to start the engine remotely with the fob, and all doors will automatically unlock once the key is detected approaching the vehicle.

Safety Comes First
No matter which trim level you decide to buy, all models come standard with Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Rear Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and High Beam Assist. Optional technology features include Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Smart Rear View Mirror, Driver Attention Alert, and Traffic Sign Recognition. The available ProPILOT Assist allows drivers to relax a little while the vehicle keeps them between the lines in their lane and handles acceleration and braking duties when on the highway.

Cargo Capacity
As a bonafide three-row SUV, the QX60 can easily handle up to seven passengers and all of their stuff (Autograph trim features standard second-row captain’s chairs for six total seats). Behind the third row, the QX60 has 14.5 cu.ft. of space. With the third row folded, owners will enjoy 41.6 cu.ft. of capacity. And with all seats folded, there is 75.4 cu.ft. of total cargo capacity.
