Top 6 Highlights of the 2025 INFINITI QX80

September 15th, 2024 by

The all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80 is one of the most luxurious and best SUVs on the market. In just its third generation, the QX80 has quickly become a contender against more expensive offerings from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Cadillac. The 2025 model has more advanced features than ever before, plus quite a few unique highlights that set the extra-large INFINITI apart from the competition and the previous generation.

The First to Feature the Latest Design Language

This new QX80 is the first INFINITI to be designed with the latest design language for the luxury brand Artistry in Motion, which will start finding its way into other models throughout the coming years. Thanks in part to the latest design, the QX80 also showcases the newest signature double-arch grille, which is meant to resemble shapes from a bamboo forest.

A Unique Taillight

In the rear of the 2025 QX80 is a long, flowing LED light connecting the taillights. This light source actually mimics the design of the daytime running lights (DRLs) in the headlights. It features over 300 individual LEDs and has a smoked finish to add some drama when the lights are not on. However, when the vehicle is on, or if the brakes have been engaged, the bright red LEDs shine through.

A Special Welcome

Stepping towards the QX80 with the key at night, you will notice the available INFINITI Light Path. When the vehicle senses the key fob, the flush door handles automatically extend outward so that you can open the door. When the car is unlocked, the Light Path feature will illuminate the INFINITI logo onto the ground and also display a series of patterned lines to aid in visibility and create a sense of drama.

First-Ever Biometric Cooling

Do you ever grow tired of finding the right temperature balance when you are hot or cold? Sometimes, you start to feel warm, and at this point, you are trying to actively cool down but must wait for the air conditioning to do its thing. The QX80 solves this for passengers in the second row with Biometric Cooling, a segment-first technology. An infrared sensor in the headliner scans and monitors when second-row passengers are getting warm and immediately changes the temperature and airflow to get the right degree and amount of cold air to passengers.

More Luxuries for All

For the first time in an INFINITI, third-row passengers will now be treated to heated seats, and second-row passengers will have the ability to get a soothing massage. No longer are the driver and passenger the kings and queens of the vehicle. The big INFINITI ensures everyone is treated to lavish luxuries that you might find on a private jet.

One-of-A-Kind Audio System

There is nothing quite like a vehicle with a stellar audio system that makes you feel like you are at Madison Square Garden with a concert just for you. With the latest Klipsch audio system in the QX80, all passengers will feel like they have the best seats in the house. Pure and Luxe models feature a 600-watt, 14-speaker system with a 12-channel amp. Sensory and Autograph models take it up a notch with a 24-speaker, 1,200-watt Klipsch ultra-premium sound system. This system has four High Line roof-mounted speakers, an 8-inch TriPower subwoofer, and a 24-channel amplifier. With Individual Audio and DynamicAudioReveal, you will undoubtedly feel like royalty.
